Writer's Block: Into the wild

If you could, would you set a zoo animal free? Which one and why?

Hell NO! Never ever would I do something stupid and cruel.

Zoo animals can't survive in the wild, they just don't have any necessary knowledge. And they aren't afraid of humans, so if they somehow manage to survive, they become a huge danger and will get killed sooner or later while attacking humans or just getting dangerously close.

With a lot of work, ideally started when animal in question is small, it is possible to release animals, but then they won't be "zoo" animals. They come from specially set programs, directed at releasing them and not showing them off to idle public. Those animals are raised in special conditions, with as little contact with humans as possible and taught everything they need to know.
