There is a small but nice fur-tree "forest" planted on his lot, which is a perfect place to take really nice photos.
And of course I had to play with night-settings on my new camera. I failed, because I forgot to pack my small tripod and it was too cold to try and keep my hand steady enough to take good photos. But I had a good laugh at the squiggle that got drawn on photo by the star I was trying to catch.
I also spent over 10 minutes trying to befriend a gray house mouser I saw hiding near wood stack. And then she spent over an hour weaving around my feet and doing her best to trip me. I had to give her a pat on her butt to get her to leave me alone. And farm mouser refused to notice me at all - just hid on top of the wood stack.
And of course when we were burning coals for shashlik and I was taking night photos, I had to warm up. And while I was thawing out I took some fire photos.
